Platonic relationships...what's your take?

I have more guy friends than girl friends, so I guess I have the same 'problem' if that's what it is. I think it's normal because I find that guys are more fun to be around and girls tend to be not as open. However, I do not know if a girl and a guy can be friends without one or the other wanting more at one point. I've had debates about this.
