Why straight guys react so violently when they are hit on by gay men?

they feel that because they're straight they feel superior to gay guys so if a straight guy gets hit it gives him ah bad rep. its like the king of the jungle not being the king anymore cause he slipped on ah banana peel, you know he got punked by a lower life form.
