Got 2 problems here! Can you give me some advice?

one ting about prayer is it reveals how well you know the Lord...before you start asking god for things perhaps it is time to discover who God is and approach him based on what you know of him and your relationship with him..seems like you are asking an uncle you hardly know for money and just hope he will give it..the facts about who God is and what he is willing to do are revealed through seeking him with an open heart and reading your bible.....God does love you and does wnat what is best for you...the problem is you are asking him for what you think is best for you as apposed to trusting god and trying to line up with what he has already said in his word...prayer will transform you when you are moving in Gods direction instead of trying ot get him to move in yours...read the gospel of john and start learning who the lord is ..it is an awsome life
