Is it appropriate for an English Language college graduate to have a job in Banks??

I've got My B.A in English language but i get bored of teaching and i'd like to change my career from Education to work in banks as it's more profitable bec. they give adequate salaries & other benefits...So i'm asking now what departments of banks are suitable for someone with my educational background or what positions in banks shall I apply for to be accepted in Banks????
