Is a blind stitch foot the same as a stitching in the ditch foot?

I am new to sewing. I am making a quilt. The lady told me to get a stitching in the ditch foot. I did and when I got home I saw a foot that came with my sewing machine that looks similar. It is called a blind stitch foot. Thanks for any help!
